Leticia Amaya is the first out of 9 children to attend college and earn a graduate degree. She grew up in Watts, Ca. She is a New York City educator with over 15 years of experience looking to change the world one child at a time. She specializes in teaching reading intervention and working with bilingual children. She is passionate about anything literacy and providing parents with the tools they need to support their children at home.
Leticia is married with a son, and since having her son, started blogging and writing about everything education and parenting. Recently, her and her family and made the big move back to California where she is working towards launching her tutoring business and working at a local school. She is focused on the career mom and what does that look like during COVID, as well as teaching race and equity to elementary children.
