BIO:

Pedro Chavez is an immigration attorney who grew up in Brownsville, TX and now lives in Tijuana, MX. He is the Founder and Executive Director of Fear of Return, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that helps find refugees attorneys. They are dedicated to finding novel solutions to the refugee crisis through universal representation of asylum seekers. Fear of Return is currently developing a scalable refugee/asylee database that can grow with the needs of asylum seekers and immigration service nonprofits, pro-bono and paid attorneys. 

The goal of which is the reduction of overall refugee/asylee representation rates. Additionally, Fear of Return creates original and individualized fundraising campaigns to raise funds for individual asylum seekers, where funds are allocated via hashtag performance monitoring.
