Join Jordan and I as we talk about her Mobile, AL upbringing and how she found her voice within the black community. We touch on how various other 'blackness' was revealed to her in college and how she got involved with the March for Black Womxn March: San Diego movement.
In this episode I got the chance to speak with Jordan Hayles. Jordan is a speaker and is building a speaking and innovation practice which elevates forward thinking ideas and resources that matter now. Her latest invention, The Busy Humans’ Language Method, shifts learning how to speak a language from a technical pursuit to a human one. She is known for talks such as “Green Dream: Building Parks for Ages 102 and Younger” & “Human Terms & Conditions: Should The Exit Interview Be Done on The First Day?” She is also a co-organizer with March for Black Womxn San Diego: a march based in Black Joy + Black Resistance and shares with me the goals and demands the black woman & fem community want to implement. This is such a powerful and informative interview. But you know we always keep the laughter going.
